Bad credit status may not allow you to borrow funds from relatives but by providing the lender with a mortgage you can acquire a bad credit home equity loan in spite of credit check which shall provide you funds equivalent to the value of your house. Since credit check is just a formality you may be able to acquire the loan without placing any asset as mortgage if the loan agreement so permits.
